#BLOGMAS day 9 has arrived! Are you guys sick of us yet? Well, we aren’t sick of you so there! We can’t have #BLOGMAS without showing you our Christmas tree. Each year, we like to choose a theme for our tree. Last year was colorful and used a lot of green and red. We decided to stay away from the bright colors this year and go for a more subdued, timeless look. Nothing screams classy like silver, gold, and white. Of course, we used white lights to keep with the theme. We sprayed fake snow all over the tree to give it a frosted look. We chose ornaments that stuck with the theme. We started a tradition back when we first moved in together. Every year we each choose one special ornament for the tree. The rest of the ornaments are simple and less ornate. This is the perfect way to slowly add timeless ornaments to your collection while making it personal. Though we only started a few years ago, we love being able to look back and see what we chose and why. This adds a special memory to our life together. It will be so much fun to look back in 20 years and see how the collection grew!

As far as the top of the tree, we didn’t mess around. We found this amazing bow with ribbons that were perfect for the tree. We knew that it would flow down the tree and add a bit more dimension. We also picked up a few sprays to stick out of the top. Yes, those pieces that are sticking out beside the bow are called sprays. Weird, right?? We didn’t want the top of the tree to be something simple. We kept with a more subdued look, which meant the top had to have a wow factor!

We are really happy with our tree this year! Hopefully, you guys like it! Now, it’s your turn to tell us how you decorated. What colors did you choose? Let us know in the comments below!

Until next time…
