SKIN CARE TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

skin care travel essentials

Traveling can be a nightmare for your skin. Dehydration, irritation, and redness are just a few of the things you can experience. That’s where your skin care travel essentials come into the picture. The first thing you want to do is look at the climate you are traveling to. For us, we like to be prepared for just about anything. Are we going to experience a lot of sun exposure? If so, sunscreen is a must! But what about after you get out of the sun? You’re going to want to moisturize like crazy to prevent any redness or irritation.

Most likely, you will be flying when you travel. That means you are going to experience dry skin. You just can’t avoid it when you fly. We like to pack serums, oils, and masks to really hydrate during the flight. This will ensure you avoid dry skin during your trip.

Like we said, it’s important to cover all the bases when traveling — that’s why we make a list.

WHAT YOU NEED

Cleanser

Toner

Eye Cream

Serum

Oil

Facial Roller – We wrote a blog post all about rollers.

Moisturizer

Masks – Sheet masks help hydrate in-flight. Charcoal masks help with travel breakouts. You also want to pack soothing and calming masks since your skin takes a beating when traveling.

Now, let’s get specific. On this latest trip (currently in California as we write this post), here’s what we packed. Side note: we didn’t pack a cleanser because we knew we would pick one up once we arrived. Just another excuse to buy more skin care lol.

Until next time…
