You guys knew this blog post was coming any day now. We are officially obsessed with celery juice. If you follow us on Instagram, you already know we drink this every morning. It’s quickly become solidified into our morning routine. We first learned about the benefits of celery juice from the Medical Medium on Instagram. If you don’t already follow him, do it! He is a wealth of knowledge. We saw him posting about all of the wild benefits of celery. So we decided to do some research and realized he really did know what he was talking about. Before we go any further, we want to be clear. We are not here to give you medical advice. We are simply sharing our experience with you guys. We’ve been consistently drinking celery juice for the past month. We drink it every morning before we eat breakfast since it’s best to consume on an empty stomach. We’re actually drinking this right now as we write this post. The serving size you should consume is 16 ounces, which is about what we drink every morning. We truly mean this when we say we have seen a huge difference in our bodies. For starters, it literally gives us a jolt of energy in the morning even before we drink any coffee — which is saying A LOT. This is probably one of the first things we noticed after drinking it consistently. Normally we are feigning for a cup of caffeine the moment we wake up. Now, we drink this first before the coffee and already feel more awake.
Aside from the boost in energy levels, there are a ton of other benefits to adding this into your daily routine. One of the biggest things we’ve noticed is a change in our digestion. Celery helps heal digestion problems and irritation. Without going into too many “TMI” details, we’re definitely more regular lol. Plus, Mike already has issues with his gluten intolerance, so this is just another measure to help his body. Some other benefits of drinking the juice:

We truly can attest to the majority of these benefits already — and it’s only been a month. We actually feel more clear and focused throughout the day. It’s almost like the celery juice helps wipe away any brain fog we had when we first woke up. This is obviously huge since no one wants to feel “cloudy” during the day. It’s pretty amazing when you really think about how something so small can do so much.
We’re guessing the number one thing you are thinking about right now is the taste. Yes, it tastes just like celery, but in a good way. It’s almost like you’re drinking a light green juice minus the sweetness. To be honest, we actually like the taste. But at the end of the day, even if we didn’t at first, we would learn to like it. The benefits could convince us to like just about anything!
Another thing you might be wondering is if you can just eat celery instead. Of course, you can do that, but you will need to eat A LOT. It takes nearly one whole bunch of celery to make 16 ounces. So unless you love munching on celery, we suggest juicing. If you’ve never juiced before, don’t worry, it’s super easy. You don’t need anything fancy. We have a pretty inexpensive juicer. Plus, the cleanup is quick and easy. You’ll want to rinse off the celery before juicing to make sure you remove any dirt. Then throw it in the juicer and voila. You’ve got a glass of health waiting for you!
