Happy #MaskMonday! This week it’s all about Kiehl’s. Guys, Kiehl’s is one of our favorite skin care brands. We’re sure you’ve tried at least one of their products in the past. We can always count on Kiehl’s for amazing products that actually work. Today’s mask is the Rare Deep Earth Pore Cleansing Mask. It has quite the name, right? We love using masks for every reason under the sun. Whether we need extra hydration, brightening, or even anti-aging, we’ve got a mask. But sometimes our skin feels out of whack. That’s when we know it’s time for a clay mask. We’re talking about those masks that make you feel like a statue but it’s so worth it. That’s what we found with this product. The first thing we noticed was the smell. Can you guess? Clay. This mask obviously has that chalky, clay smell. Luckily, that isn’t a terrible smell. It’s exactly what you are imagining right now in your head. The actual mask is very thick. That’s what we like when we are using a clay mask. If it’s too thin, it doesn’t seem to get the job done. We like how this mask is pretty easy to apply. Since it is pretty thick, we don’t really have much of a problem with coverage. You want to leave this mask on until it dries completely. Since it does have clay as an ingredient, we like to put this on before we shower. That way it is so much easier to rinse off. You can absolutely use the sink but for us, the shower does the trick. This mask really does help purify our skin and helps with the appearance of pores. We LOVE that you can see the oil and dirt coming to the surface once the mask dries. They also added oatmeal and aloe vera to help soothe. That was a great idea in our opinion. Our skin feels so smooth and soft after rinsing off the mask. We try to use this mask once a week, though it can be used twice a week if your skin needs some extra TLC. We highly suggest checking out this mask. If you’re in the market for a good clay mask that helps with normal to oily skin, this is your new BFF.
