If you follow along closely on Instagram, you know the lengths we went to find the newest addition to our home. Studio McGee released a collection with Target and for us, the star of that collection was the Elroy Sherpa Accent Chair. This chair flew off the shelves as soon as it was released. We called so many locations trying to find one in stock. A few of the locations had marked it in stock online but by the time we arrived, it was gone! After sharing it on Instagram, so many of you messaged us saying you had just seen some in stock near us. Alex called the one location and scooped up the last one! He drove all the way there in our rental car (if you know, you know) and brought it home.
We’ve been fans of Studio McGee for a long time. If you don’t already know, they just released a new Netflix show called “Dream Home Makeover” and we highly recommend watching. It’s only 6 episodes and will really get you in the mood to design. So along with already being fans of their designs, we had high expectations for this Target collection. Luckily, we’ve been so impressed by the quality, design, and price of everything — more specifically this sherpa chair. The cost is $249.00 and worth every penny. It’s a square armchair with a wood frame. The cushions are thick so it feels extra cozy. The sherpa is incredibly soft and makes for the perfect spot to curl up on a rainy afternoon (like today as we write this). We are in love with how it fits into our space. They also have a matching round ottoman that we are debating purchasing to complete the set. Hmm, we shall see. Regardless, it’s a win for us. What do you think?
