Your New Favorite Snack: Chia Pudding

Snacking can be fun! We always love to find recipes that are healthy, easy, and very delicious. Chia pudding is one of those recipes that we’ve been making for years! We love finding new ways to spruce up our chia pudding with spices, fruits, or any other delicious toppings. Chia pudding will leave you feeling full, energized and totally guilt-free. If you have not tried this before, we highly recommend making this ASAP. You wont regret it! Let’s dive into the recipe.

What you’ll need:

Chia seeds

Coconut milk

Vanilla extract

Cinnamon

Honey or Date syrup

Fresh fruit

How to make:

+ In a bowl or mason jar, add 1 can of coconut milk. If you’re not into the taste of pure coconut milk, you can use any plant based milk of your choice.

+Add about 4 tablespoons of chia seeds for every 1 cup of milk

+ 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

+ 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

+ We used date syrup to sweeten but you can totally use honey, agave, or even monk fruit! Feel free to skip this step if you don’t want any extra sweetness.

+ We also added a tablespoon of beetroot powder for added health benefits. You can get creative and add any type of powder of your heart desires. The next time we make this sweet treat, we’re thinking about either adding adaptogenic mushrooms, collagen powder, or even protein powder! Have fun while making this!

+ Mix all of the ingredients really well and place in the refrigerator for a few hours. You want to make sure the chia seeds absorb some of the milk, this will give the “pudding” consistency

+ Once the pudding is ready, top with strawberries, blueberries, coconut flakes, and honey!

+ ENJOY!
