Happy Monday! Guys, it’s a #MaskMonday miracle. We are giving you a new mask this week. For those of you that might be a little confused, here’s the lowdown. When we first started the #MaskMonday series, we had all intentions of making this a weekly series. Unfortunately, that is way easier said than done. We always strive to create amazing content for you guys on a weekly basis. It started to become really difficult to post a new mask each week with other lifestyle content in between. That’s why we switched to a biweekly schedule. Well, we don’t like that anymore and you guys don’t either! We are going to do our very best to start posting #MaskMonday weekly! *Cue the applause* We can’t guarantee it but we PROMISE we will do our absolute best to make this a weekly series once again! With that being said, let’s get into this week’s mask. We’re talking about the InstaNatural Charcoal Mask. This charcoal mask has quickly become one of our go-to masks. We love finding smaller skin care brands and InstaNatural is just that. Smaller companies seem to really focus on quality ingredients rather than harsh chemicals. You guys know how we are always on the search for the good stuff. None of those nasty, chemical-filled products. InstaNatural promises that none of their products contain any harsh ingredients. That’s a win for us! We love charcoal masks for a ton of reasons. We’d have to say number one is the mask’s ability to draw out impurities and debris. That’s where the charcoal comes into play. It works like a magnet to pull out anything that is clogging up your pores. Who doesn’t love that?!
The first thing we noticed about this mask was how easy it was to apply. The squeeze bottle allows you to use only the amount needed. The mask is thick enough that you don’t have to reapply a million times to achieve even coverage. We like to leave this mask on for about 20 minutes. That gives the mask plenty of time to dry and do its thing. That “thing” is removing all of the dirt and impurities from our skin. After our first use, we couldn’t help but notice that our face was crazy smooth. This mask also has China Clay and Bentonite to help detoxify — oh yes! Give us all the detoxifying there is. It also has Bergamot Oil to help brighten. Our skin feels incredibly clean and fresh after each use. Since there aren’t any harsh chemicals, it is perfect for those with sensitive skin. No need to worry about redness or irritation. It also doesn’t dry so much that you feel like a statue. Though we don’t hate that feeling, we know some of you guys do. That’s why this mask is your new friend. We suggest using this mask 1-2 times per week. You never want to overuse a charcoal mask. That can lead to dryness, irritation, and breakouts. Be sure to follow-up with a good moisturizer!
