Keeping It Casual in the Poconos

Grab your coffee everyone, it’s Monday! We just got back from a quick weekend trip to the Poconos. The weekend was filled with family time and tons of relaxing. Of course, Toby came along and loved running around in the leaves. The sun was shining and the temperature was actually pretty nice. We tried to keep our looks pretty casual. That meant a good pair of jeans and some comfy kicks. We both bought our jeans from Gap and, of course, got them on sale. We love when an outfit looks put together but not as if we tried very hard. We love ripped jeans so these were great with our looks. People often think you can’t pair ripped jeans with a nice top, but that is just not the case. It adds a bit of roughness to an outfit. Pairing it with a great sweater or henley helps pull the look together. Don’t think you can only wear these jeans with an old t-shirt and sneakers. These aren’t those old jeans that got passed down from your older brother. Change how you view these pieces and you can elevate any outfit.

We had a great time just catching up with family and enjoying the outdoors. Well, we looked at the outdoors from the comfy couch but hey, that still counts. We hope you guys have a great Monday. May your coffee be strong and your Monday be short! Until next time…
