Hi, Guys! We’re so excited to share this week’s #MaskMonday! This week’s mask comes from this amazing company called Four Birds Beauty. We’ve tried a few of the products in the past and loved them! This time we decided to try out the Acne Prone/Detox Mask. We love using charcoal-based masks and wanted to give this one a try. Before we tell you about the mask, we need to tell you more about Four Birds Beauty. Everything is made by hand. Yes, you read that right. BY HAND. How cool is that?! Better yet, it’s all made to order with natural ingredients. As you can imagine, we love that part. Ingredients we can actually read. The mask is made with only five ingredients. Activated charcoal powder, tea tree oil, bentonite clay, kaolin clay, and zinc oxide come together to make this powerful mask. It’s perfect for those with acne prone skin though it isn’t limited to just that. We all need to give our skin a good detox every so often. This mask does just that. To avoid adding preservatives, it’s shipped in powder form. Simply scoop a small amount into your palm (or a bowl) and add water. Milk or green tea can be used if you want a creamier consistency. We love that the main ingredient is charcoal powder. If you don’t already know, this ingredient helps draw out all of that nasty gunk in your skin. It’s almost as if you can see the dirt being pulled out of your pores. YES. When we first opened the package, we noticed that there wasn’t a harsh smell. That’s always great when using any skin care product. It’s also very easy to apply this mask. Some powder masks don’t mix very well but this one does the trick. We prefer mixing masks in bowls rather than our hands. It’s much easier to apply this way. We can’t tell you enough how much we love the way our skin feels after we use this mask. Our skin feels fresh and super smooth. It really does feel like you just went through a mini-detox.
On another note, the packaging from Four Birds Beauty is amazing. Since everything is made by hand, your product is packaged by hand. The owner herself includes a small, hand-drawn note on all of the packages. It’s honestly the cutest thing. If you’re looking for a new face mask to give your skin a refresh, then look no further.
