PIZZA. Who doesn’t love pizza? Cheese and bread is one of the best combinations you could ever ask for. We decided to throw on our chef hats and whip up some yummy gluten-free margherita pizza over the weekend. Nothing beats fresh basil, mozzarella, and great sauce. We are by no means expert cooks, so don’t think that you can’t do the same thing. We headed to our local Whole Foods to pick up the ingredients. Luckily we were able to find gluten-free dough in the freezer section. No, we were NOT going to attempt to make the dough from scratch. We know we can cook, but also know our limits! The dough was frozen and just needed to thaw overnight. So easy! We also picked up mozzarella, tomato basil sauce, and fresh basil. We realized that we didn’t have a rolling-pin halfway through the night so we had to improvise. Bring on the wine bottle! Seriously, wine comes in handy no matter what the situation. We rolled out the dough, assembled the sauce, cheese and basil, and got to baking. We set our oven to 375 degrees and cooked the pizza for about 20 minutes. Seriously guys, this pizza was so good! We highly suggest trying this sometime soon.
We hope you guys have an awesome Monday! We have some fun posts coming soon! Until next time…
