Is the Clarisonic Really Worth It?

Hey guys, it’s Alex! Sorry it has been almost a week since our last post! We have been so busy with work and school this week that we barely had time to breathe. We hope you guys are having a great Sunday so far. We have a bit of a random post for you today. Mike has been an avid Clarisonic user for the past 9ish months. He has always raved about how great the product is but I was always skeptical. I didn’t think I needed to spend that much money on something that my hands could do for free. Now, I have always had really sensitive skin. It seemed like every time I tried a new product my face decided to freak out. I’m sure some of you can relate to this issue. The main reason Mike bought the Clarisonic in the first place was because of its ability to actually deep clean your skin. Well, I finally gave in and purchased my very own! I wanted to do a quick review for you guys since it has been 3 days since I started using the device. I have to say, I love it! First off, the Clarisonic has a built-in timer. Once you press the on button, you have one minute to clean your face.  Apparently that is the ideal amount of time needed to actually cleanse your skin. The package comes with the sensitive brush head (phew) so I wasn’t as worried trying something new. *Side note: You do have to replace your brush head every 3 months so keep that in mind.* After just my first use I really felt like my skin was really clean. My face felt really soft and not too irritated. I used the face wash that the package came with just to try it out. It was really foamy and really cleansed my skin. Now, I have been told that this will make you break out initially because it pulls up all of the dirt that hasn’t been removed before. We will have to wait and see if that is the case with me (most likely yes…). All in all, I am really happy with my purchase so far. If you are on the fence with purchasing your very own Clarisonic then I say go for it! It even comes with a one year warranty!

Let us know if you decide to purchase your own Clarisonic. We would love to know what you think!

Stay tuned for some new posts this week! Until next time…
