Nowadays, it seems as if everyone has something to say. The first scenario that comes to mind is your group of friends. Think about it for a minute. Friends are so important. We lean on them for support. We look to them for advice or a shoulder to cry on. But what happens when your friend group turns into WWIII? You know what I’m talking about. The good ole’ days of playing on the playground and getting along are over. It’s the real world and everyone doesn’t get along. Of course that’s completely natural because we have all grown up and matured and have our own opinions. But what happens when your friend group decides to turn into clique 1, 2, and 3. Joe likes Sally and James doesn’t want to be around Luke because Luke dated Sally and James likes her now. Oh, don’t forget about Ashley and Kirstin. They used to be friends until Ashley forgot to text Kirstin about Friday night. Confusing, right?! What happened to the saying “play nice” and getting along with others? I’m sure they all got along at one point. Times change and people get attitudes. It doesn’t have to be that way. Stop getting annoyed with each other. Don’t forget the reason you first became friends with that person. Find time to get your friends together, all of them! We have hit a point where we should be able to forget about the petty things. Have fun and laugh because that is what friends are for. Lean on them in your time of need and laugh with them when you are feeling down. Let’s all be friends because you can’t do it alone and no one should have to. That my friends, is keeping it real.
