We all know that breakfast is such an important part of the day. It helps kickstart our body and gets our brain moving. Of course, not everyone has time to cook up a huge spread while they are trying to run out the door (we’ve all be there). Preparing your breakfast the night before is one of the best ways to save time and effort during those early mornings. That’s why we always find ourselves making overnight oats for breakfast. For starters, it tastes so good. It’s also a great way to pack your breakfast with key nutrients to power you through the day. To spice things up, we’re showing you guys three ways to make your overnight oats. Whether you like fruit, chocolate, or peanut butter, we’ve got you covered!
BLUEBERRY OVERNIGHT OATS
What you’ll need: 1 Mason Jar w/ Lid (Standard Size)
Ingredients
3/4 Cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats
1/2 – 3/4 Cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
*We give a range because you want just enough milk to cover all of the oats. Too much will leave the oats too liquidy*
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds
Handful of Fresh Blueberries
Directions
Combine ingredients in a mason jar. Stir and cover with lid. Place in fridge overnight. Pour into a bowl and top with more blueberries. If you like your oats even sweeter, drizzle with raw honey. Enjoy!
