It’s Turkey Time!

Happy Thanksgiving! Well, it’s a few days late but still counts. We hope you guys had a great holiday with your friends, family, and loved ones. Not to sound like a broken record but we are SO sorry it has been another (almost) 2 weeks since we last blogged. We said we wouldn’t let this happen again but things have been crazy lately. We may have added another someone to our family (blog post coming soon)! Woof woof! Okay, back to today’s post. We had a wonderful time with our family and friends this holiday. We decided to do things a little different this year. We had TWO thanksgiving celebrations- yes, please! The first dinner was in New Jersey (Mike’s family) and the second in Pennsylvania (Alex’s family). This was a year to remember. The food was out of this world and it just kept coming. Seriously, I don’t think we could have eaten another bite. Well, we did snack on leftovers around 10PM but hey, who doesn’t do that?!? Thanksgiving is known as the holiday of the leftovers. Maybe we are the only ones who call it that but it is seriously the best. Leftover turkey sandwiches are just too good. We had a great holiday with so many laughs. We love when a holiday goes from morning to night. The more time with family the better in our eyes. Family is so important to us. You may not get to pick your family but at the end of the day, they will be the ones there for you no matter what. We hope you all were able to take a minute to appreciate all that you have. We don’t always take the time to take a step back and count our blessings. Every day should be a day to celebrate all that we are thankful for. We hope this resonates with some of you and you understand what we are saying. Okay, time to end this rant. We are so thankful to have you all reading this blog. We always had a dream to start a blog and now that it has actually happened we can’t believe we have readers! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so thankful for all of you!
