Picnic in the Park

Last week we decided to have our own little picnic in the park. We had been running through the park the past few days and couldn’t help but notice the amount of picnics going on. Instead of having our normal night inside we decided it would be refreshing to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. We were determined to find all of the necessary picnic items in our own apartment and avoid going to the store. Of course, the first thing on the list was a blanket! We packed up our blanket and a pillow and had laid the groundwork for our spontaneous picnic. Food is a must for any picnic so we hit the kitchen next. We gathered up some fruit, salad, water, and popped some popcorn; We were almost ready! We didn’t want this to be any ordinary picnic but something that would give us a  “tumblr-esque” kind of feel. We headed to the park and had our eyes peeled for a secluded little spot. We finally found a spot on the “corner kick” area of the soccer field. Once we were all set up we snapped a few pics and were ready to dig in. We were so excited that we were able to find everything we needed in our own apartment. This just goes to show that you don’t always have to spend in order to try something new. We challenge you to go on a picnic this week and explore the outdoors.
